This season you will see Flux using QR codes to present product videos on our different bindings. You can scan the code with your smart phone to learn more about the different features the specific bindings have to offer. First flakes of the season fell on Mammoth Mountain last week! The cold weather blanketed Mammoth with 1 ½ feet of snow—enough to make us all antsy for the lifts to open. More snow is expected and we can all do a dance to the snow gods for colder weather to continue. 2010/2011 shred season is so close we can smell it! Get your ride out of the closet—we’ll be slashing in no time!
Flux will be sponsoring Arbor Snowboard’s event to benefit POW, Protect Our Winters. POW is an organization that is united towards a common goal of reducing climate change’s effects on our sport and local mountain communities.
There will be music, an open bar, and the premier of Think Thank’s Left Brain Right Brain, and Bear Mountain’s Paint it Red. Flux will be giving away a pair of free bindings and you will get a chance to win movies, magazines, lift tickets, snowboards and all sorts of awesome prizes from other vendors. The event is obviously going to be a blast, so make sure you come check it out! Friday, October 15 the festivities will be going down at Arbor Venice, 102 Washington Blvd. and on Saturday, October 16th at Arbor Santa Barbara, 1221 State St. Doors open at 7.
