Jordan Michilot is pairing his DS30s with his own Academy Bro Model. CLICK HERE to see Jordan’s personalized setup.  The light weight and responsiveness of the DS30’s along with the pop and stability of the Academy bro model board will get you all sorts of Michilot’d.

Scotty Vine made his perfect setup.  He has always loved his SF45’s for response and stability while slashing one footed 720s and hundred foot rails.  Last season his blue, pink and green gradation bindings were well represented and this year, these bumble bee killers will be no different.   He took both colorways of the black and yellow SF45 bindings and mixed them together, then color coordinated the stickers. The stance is 23 inches wide, the front angle is +15 and the back foot is -15. Overall, the entire set up weigh’s roughly 10 pounds.

Arbor Europe holds an annual riders meeting where they meet, greet, and shred!  The European team got to try out their new bindings and it looks like they were stoked.  We can’t wait to ride the new bindings for ourselves once the snow starts to fall.  Check out this video of the Euros killing it…

New England and Utah shops got a chance to check out Flux Bindings this past week.  On a short trip around the area, bindings were brought in and shops got a chance to see what Flux is all about.  Be expecting to see more Flux fans in the area!  Here are a few photos from the trips….

The Boardroom of Jackson Hole has been around for almost 20 years as a snowboard and skate shop. Currently, Lauri is the third owner in 20 years having taken the reigns as of Oct 1, 2010. It’s always been the little snow and skate shop in town, a staple in town.

A twenty year local institution; we have a mini ramp for skating outside, we’ve also added a coffee shop in here called “Mughshot espresso” run by Amy Marrington.  Gourmet, locally roasted, organic coffee and local pastries etc. We even have a couple pinball games in here as well as skate and snowboard videos for sale and for rent. We are also an art gallery of sorts with over 20 local arrists works on display and for sale. We also carry over 20 local brands. We are trying to support local folks as much as possible as well as nationally recognized brands of course. The vibe we have tried to create is a place where you can come in and hang out and not feel like you have to buy something every time.

One thing that makes winter seem a little closer is flipping though the numerous snowboard magazines that flood the mail.

The new Transworld Snowboard Magazine was hand delivered to our office yesterday.  Check out this photo of JP Solberg riding though a snow cave…woooowee! ! Winter is right around the corner!!

This issue features a section devoted to bindings that enhance your boarding.  The TT30 Flux/Ashbury collabo took a spot in the lineup as a top choice.

This past week there was enough snow to get a little bit of snowboarding in and these girls went out and got some!!

What is that for?

Some of you may have seen this little do-hicky in your new box of Flux Bindings.  What is it for??

When you extend the toe ramp and heel ramp on your baseplate of your DMCC, DMCC-light, DS30, SR15 and SF45, you will notice a gap in the cushioning. Simply adjust and add this piece to the open space for an even base cushioning.

The weather is getting colder and we have seen the first flakes of the season in some of our mountains!  Forecasters say this is the shortest duration between snow storms since 1969!  We want to think mama nature is giving us a taste of a snowy season to come!
