Happy Good Friday!

And man…. Life is good.  Here is what the Flux team has been up to this week….

Ian Sams, Erik Leon, and Scott Vine showed Japan how SoCal shredders do…. Check out this edit from their trip…..

Lynn neil got 2^nd place at Billabong’s ‘Flaunt It!’ for ladies slopestyle!  She also got the award for Best trick for her cab 540 stale.  CLICK HERE for more information on the event! 

Erik Leon and Jaeger Bailey were invited to participate in Snowboarder Mag’s underage rage cage!  “The Launch” setup at Bear Mountain is complete with tranys, tree jumps, bowls and bitches.  Well… maybe not the bitches… they are still underage.  CLICK HERE for more details and check out these shots of Flux team riders Erik Leon and Jaeger Bailey… 

Mt. High will be releasing its first full film this fall titled “Los Angeles.”  Spencer Link rocks his flashy orange RK30s in this teaser… CLICK HERE to see it! 

The Arbor Face Off is going on at Boreal next weekend. Guest judges Ian Sams and Scotty Vine will be there, and Erik Leon will be back to defend his face off title! Get up north! 

FLUX FRIDAY!

The weather is getting colder and we have seen the first flakes of the season in some of our mountains!  Forecasters say this is the shortest duration between snow storms since 1969!  We want to think mama nature is giving us a taste of a snowy season to come!

Although we still have time until lifts open, we can’t help but get excited. Are you ready for opening day?  Do you have your fresh Flux Bindings on your board?  Flux is in stores across the globe and ready to be put to use. Go get a pair! The snow is coming!

Scotty Vine takes the Eddie Wall Ride

Congratulations goes to Flux rider Scotty Vine for winning the Eddie Wall Ride at the West Coast Invitational in Mammoth this past weekend!
Scotty pulled some off-the-wall tricks and sent some of his trademark one footers that put him in first for the contest..and first in our hearts:)

They even went to Chad’s for beers and to enjoy the vast amount of talent Big Bear had to offer. Classic!

Think Thank Movie Premiere at Arbor Venice and Santa Barbara

Flux will be sponsoring Arbor Snowboard’s event to benefit POW, Protect Our Winters. POW is an organization that is united towards a common goal of reducing climate change’s effects on our sport and local mountain communities.
There will be music, an open bar, and the premier of Think Thank’s Left Brain Right Brain, and Bear Mountain’s Paint it Red. Flux will be giving away a pair of free bindings and you will get a chance to win movies, magazines, lift tickets, snowboards and all sorts of awesome prizes from other vendors. The event is obviously going to be a blast, so make sure you come check it out! Friday, October 15 the festivities will be going down at Arbor Venice, 102 Washington Blvd. and on Saturday, October 16th at Arbor Santa Barbara, 1221 State St. Doors open at 7. Hope to see you there!

SIA Demo at Winter Park, CO

The demo was a success. Without trying to toot our own horn, I must say that the Flux / Arbor booth was packed with people wanting to try out next season’s line-up. Many people came back with smiles and nothing but good things to say about the bindings. Some even wanted to continue to use the bindings for the rest of the day because they didn’t want to ride anything else.

TWS even deemed the Arbor Coda and the Flux DS45 as being the set-up of the day for Day1 of the demo. Check it HERE
