Thank you for being a part of Flux Bindings! Here is what the Flux team has been up to this week:

Newest Flux team rider Tyler Lynch  and the GBP crew put out Soup Kitchen 19.  We like these guys….

BLAKE AXELSON is also new to the Flux team.  He released his first full part with Arbor.  He kills it and we are stoked to see what he does this season….  

Blake also rides with his crew, ‘Mobbin’… they just released this edit, ‘Failure to Launch’

Zac Marben released his full part with Volcom— This guy’s a legend….  

Madison Blackley and Zac Marben will have a signature session at High Cascade this summer!  Madison will have session 5, and Zac Marben will be at High Cascade for Session 4!  CLICK HERE for more information on learning from the Flux team at High Cascade.  If you register early, you get quite the swag package….

VOLCOM is releasing individual parts for their team.  Flux team member Zac Marben got his own coming out on November 5th. Check out the teaser!

Erik Leon has been shredding Hood all summer.  In this edit, he joins Tim Eddy with Airblaster to hop all over the mountain… Check out Home Runs with Tim Eddy

Hot Dawgs and Handrails is set for September 22^nd.  Come to close out summer, and bring on the winter at Bear Mountain! We will be having contest at the event, and The Flux team will be there….

Feature Factory is Bear’s movie that is set to be released at Hot Doggs and Handrails! Check out the teaser and see if you can find the Flux riders!

Here is what the Flux team has been up to this week!

Oz Flux rider Tom Reilly bagged the cover of Transfer Magazine with this styley handplant…. Looks rad!!!

‘Intersection’ is a 7 day film contests at Whistler’s Ski and Snowboard Festival.  The rules were that the video had to be filmed and edited in 7 days. It had to be completely shot within 100 km radious of Whistler. The video had to include skiers and snowboarders.  30 seconds had to be filmed in the park and 30 seconds had to be filmed on Whistler Blackcomb.

Flux team rider Geoff Brown worked with the Voleurz crew to make, “The Science of Airborning,” a spoof of “The Art of Flight.”  Their submission took first place! Congrats!  Check it out here….

Volcom PB and J went down at Bear Mountain.  We will be seeing Erik Leon and Robert Toast in Mammoth for finals! Congratulations Erik for getting 2^nd… and Toasty for getting 4^th and gooiest move.  Check the recap:

Wow!! Look at all those prize packages!! JIB FOR JAPAN is gonna pop off!

Holy cow!! That is a lot of prizes for an event that was thrown together in 2 1/2 weeks. That’s what happens when the snow industry comes together to support in times of crisis. Japan has been a key player in the snow industry and it’s nice to see everyone overseas in the U.S. doing everything they can to help. Because every bit helps.

Without the help of over 60 sponsors, this event would not be as great as it will be. Thanks to everyone who donated!

Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Volcom’s annual Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is underway and finding plenty of quality local riders with buttery tricks. The contest jams up 17 different mountains over the US and then holds finals at Mammoth Mountain on April 16th. Look for the contest when it comes to your favorite resort! The jam always brings the best and defiantly provides a good scene for spectators. A huge congratulation goes out to Robert Toste for getting toasty with the set up at Bear Mountain. With a solid heat, he pulled a switch lip 270 out of the C-rail placing him first in the 16 and over division. Marvelous job!

With winter in full swing—we hope your getting the best out of your season and your bindings! The local mountains hold plenty of events like these to bring shrop-portunities to get out there. So get some! And keep us posted on where your Flux bindings are taking you this season!
