Newest Flux team rider Tyler Lynch  and the GBP crew put out Soup Kitchen 19.  We like these guys….

BLAKE AXELSON is also new to the Flux team.  He released his first full part with Arbor.  He kills it and we are stoked to see what he does this season….  

Blake also rides with his crew, ‘Mobbin’… they just released this edit, ‘Failure to Launch’

Zac Marben released his full part with Volcom— This guy’s a legend….  

Madison Blackley and Zac Marben will have a signature session at High Cascade this summer!  Madison will have session 5, and Zac Marben will be at High Cascade for Session 4!  CLICK HERE for more information on learning from the Flux team at High Cascade.  If you register early, you get quite the swag package….

Hot Dawgs and Handrails is set for September 22^nd.  Come to close out summer, and bring on the winter at Bear Mountain! We will be having contest at the event, and The Flux team will be there….

ZAC MARBEN left High Cascade and took his newly rebuilt Harley Davidson down to Southern California for a motorcycle show.  Check out this video of Zac and check out his ill looking whip.

The fat lady has sung for most of us this season.  For the end of the 2011-2012 season, we decided to Flux up Bear Mountain, and film some of the local Flux family.

Last weekend, Jaeger Bailey won first place at WCI’s EddieWall-ride event at Mammoth Mountain.  CLICK HERE to see a video and photos from the event.  Spencer Link competed in the big air portion of WCI and got this shot….

Jaeger Bailey has been killing it at SUPERPARK.  He has defiantly been a stand out in these videos throwing some unique and weeeeeird tricks…we are starting to think he might not be from this planet.

The Flux Australian team came up to get away from their summer sun. Who would want to be sunbathing in Aus when you can be shredding snow in Cali?  Looks like they made it worth the trip…..

Happy Movember! Hope all of your mustaches are coming in as nice as Zac Marben’s.

Zac judged the Downtown Throwdown in San Francisco this past weekend and Flux’s Colorado slopestyle killa  Eric Willett even came out for the event!

 Flux rider Chris Brewster  was out having fun on the Downtown Throwdown setup and threw some stylish grabs to take home the Crab Grab Style Award!

YoBeat did an awesome job reporting the event, and so did Transworld Snowboaring.  Click their links to see more footage from the DTTD.

Chris Brewster did a video guestbook with Snowboarder Magazine where he shares a little about riding ‘Trife’ and getting suplexed by the Grand Marquise . CLICK HERE TO CHECK IT.

Fluxing Fantastic….

This past weekend, snowboarders took over the OC as “Given” was premiered in Laguna Beach Friday, September 16.  A lot of people came out to the old theater to watch some good old fashion snow slashin and ridiculous rail riding.

Snow movies should play in theaters more often–everyone was having a good time.

A big congratulations goes out to Zac Marben for having a wildly successful first art show!    From the small detailed doodles of black pen on white paper, to the big brush strokes of some of his larger pieces—Zac’s creative energy shown through!  A definite favorite was his enlarged polaroid photos on a wood backing.   Zacs art, set alongside some awesome musicians, a vibin crowd and complementary brews was a great time! Keep the art alive Zac!

It’s Friday! We made it through the week!! 

Here are some clips from some of our Flux team to start off your weekend  Fluxing Fantastically!

If you are in SoCal, Laguna is the place to be this weekend!  Tonight, ‘Givin’ presents “One,” starring Flux riders Cody Rosenthal and Jake Koia at Regency Laguna, South Coast Cinema. Take a look at the teaser and check the poster for a premier in your neck of the woods.  It looks like it is going to be rad.

 

 

Jake Koia shows us around his motherland, Queenstown, New Zealand, in this video put out by Red Bull.  He is rockin the new DMCC-lights.  Maybe that’s why he is flying so high.  CLICK HERE to see the video.

 

Not only does Zac Marben get creative on the snow, he gets artsy on canvas too.  This Saturday Zac is  holding his own art show!  If his art is as good as his other skills, you won’t want to miss this.

Zac also just got an invitation to the Burton Rail Days, set to be held in the middle of the busy streets of Tokyo on November 19^th.   That gives you plenty of time to get your passport and a ticket overseas—right? Just throwing it out there…

 

If city riding isn’t your style, you should check out JP Solberg in Twe12ve.   This is the kind of snow that we could only slash in our wildest dreams.  He really is doing it big.  Check out the teaser for a taste of what the whole Absinthe movie is about.
