About Flux

Over 20 Years experience and perspective– Flux aims to make the best snowboard bindings in the world.  Ever since the birth of snowboarding, different trends have been set and forgotten. Flux has never followed these fads, but rather pursued the basic components to create a solid snowboard binding.  We believe that this helps the rider to perform at their fullest potential. We will always be humble about our history and will continue to add new pages to the book.

:: Flux has numerous patented features that nobody else is able to use without a license agreement. For example, the FTM (Flux Toe Mask) aka toe capstrap, and the UU gapless fit system.
:: All products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in house, making it easier for us to test new technologies and continue to be at the forefront of binding innovation.

Why Flux???
At Flux we pride ourselves in the best product possible. Whether it be materials, colorways, or new technology. We are a binding company specifically designed for the best ride possible.
For the Beginner or Advanced rider, Flux wants to make sure that you are comfortable and safe. With a warranty rate of less than 0.005%, we know that our customers will come back year after year. This is in part to the durability of our bindings.

Flux for who?
Anyone from a novice to an advanced rider is going to enjoy the comfortable feel of the FTM when they ride. We ensure that all of our bindings fit all current boots on the market today. If you’re looking for that effortless ride and strength in a binding, you don’t need to look any further.
Depending on what you’re looking for, we have the binding that will fit your needs. We pride ourselves on making bindings that fit everyone’s specs, whether it be a flexible highback, stiffer base or softer strap; every combination is represented. With this in mind, we want to make sure that you are covered whether you’re a young ripper or an older shredder.

What makes us better…..
It’s easy to see that there are many other binding companies out there. What makes us different than the rest?
Our love for the sport has opened our eyes towards new and progressive technology.

– The FTM Strap and UU gapless fit are just a few of the many innovations that we have brought to the market.
– We’ve also introduced tool-less features to make adjustments on-the-fly a snap.
– We have a broad product line that allows every rider the perfect specifications for how they ride.
And we are not stopping there. We know that this is the beginning of new ideas that will change the way snowboarders see the sport.

We are always updating and testing our bindings to ensure that it is the best that you can get. New colorways, comfortable fits and unique manufacturing will set us apart.

Dear Flux Peops: It was my first season last year…of course, I didn’t have any clue what items I should buy. With so much products, I was gearing towards a well known brand (Burton). Fortunately, the sales rep who helped me was as real as you guys. He recommended Flux Super Emblem. It was actually on clearance..it’s the flannel color. At first, I was kinda iffy about the color. Being a newbie, I wanted everything to match. But, I’ve always been all for practicality, and effectivenes, rather than appearance when it comes to gear. I listened to the person helping me and disregarded my desire to have everthing match. I’m glad I listened. From the 1st day I tried my S.E., I fell inlove. It feels so right. I can honestly say that these bindings helped accelerate my learning of the sport. Now, I’m in the process of getting a board for my nephew, and I’m already looking for another flux brand bindings. For as long as I’m in the sport, I’m getting nothing but flux. I like standing out from the rest just like you guys. I get so much compliments with my bindings everytime, and most important, with my S.E. I feel like the bindings and the board are a part of my body. It flows naturally. I’m doing black diamonds now (not bad, considering it’s literally only second season). I’m not really a park kinda guy..a little too old for that, but I love speed. I always have admiration for companies that truly give their best when it comes to product design and innovation. If I ever have any friends who may want to get a new set of bindings, I’m only recommending Flux. thank you for making my hard earned money very well spent. You have my loyalty. I hope you guys don’t change in terms of attitude (meaning, not get greedy and start offering crap bindings like the rest), and I hope you guys succeed the competition 20 folds. Keep up the great work, guys!

I think it’s time you guys start making boards. I’d buy one. Flux Snowboards – the new breed. haha!

I understand. Btw, regarding the color of my bindings….Initially, I didn’t like it. Eventually, it grew into me…and now, it’s like, I’m hoping flux comes out with a different color scheme, but flannel as well. I don’t think there’s any binding out there that gets as much attention as mine. Everywhere I’ve been, someone always makes a comment about it. All positive.

You guys have a great winter as well. Thanks.

Hi there FLUX, I have ridden flux bindings for a long time, they are awesome bindings and feel fantastic. This week I contacted FLUX in an attempt to get hold of a t-shirt and stickers for my board (I couldnt find them in store). I got a response within hours putting me in contact with the rep in vancouver. I then contacted him and he was able to hook me up with a t-shirt and stickers within 24 hours!!! – AMAZING! FLUX, I’d like to say thanks for not only awesome gear but superior customer service, I wont ride anything else and am telling everyone who will listen about your products!

  4. So sorry to hear that. You can contact our warranty dept. at info@flux-bindings.com, they will take care of any issues that you may have with your bindings.

Hey i am looking for some new bindings and right now i cant decide between a pair of the Flux rk30s or the rome 390 bosses. I really liked my old pair of 390s but i kinda wanna try something new. I really like the idea of the urathane highbacks and just the superlight weight of the flux bindings. But i am a little stuck on the warranty and the durability of the bindings. Can you maybe email me a little info. about your warranty and why i should go with you guys and not rome?

    • Hey! There are plenty of reasons why you should choose Flux. Our warranty rate is the lowest in the industry, which is why we have a lifetime warranty on all of our new baseplates. If you ever need any parts and service, feel free to let us know and we will take care of you. The RK is our best selling binding. We were the first to introduce urethane into our highbacks and have since been fine tuning the mix so that the binding is soft and tweakable on the outsides, with a solid spine in the middle so you don’t lose that edge to edge response when carving. LEt us know if you have any other questions or need anything! Hope to get you Flux’d up! info@flux-bindings.com

Hey, I got the Flux SF45s (2012). I can’t wait to try them out. But I first need to mount them on my 2012 Burton board with the Channel. I understand Flux is compatible with the Channel. Where can I get the transition discs? The board came with the Burton M6 transition discs…will this do, or are there Flux-specific transition discs out there? I have not been able to find them anywhere. Thanks for your help!

I am thinking about purchasing your SF45 bindings but I am a little concerned about if they will work on my Burton snowboard. I know Burton makes boards with a three-hole system and I also read that the SF45 bindings are a 4-hole system. So, my question is, will the SF45 bindings work on my Burton snowboard?
